Sneak Peek – Forever 21 Summer Campaign

with 2 comments

It’s been a busy few weeks!  I have lots of new shoots to post….. as soon as I get a couple days back to back to get through everything!

But here is a sneak peek at a recent shoot I did for Forever 21’s summer campaign.  We shot at a lovely house in the hills of Pasadena, and were lucky to get some nice weather.  Thank goodness too because I had to get in the pool up to my chest with my clothes on… there was a particular angle I really wanted to shoot from, and that was the only way to get it.  But it was so hot I was completely dry in an hour.  I love Southern California!

We kept our equipment situation pretty simple for this one, like I normally do on these high volume days (34 seperate shots!).  I used a single strobe head as a fill light, bounced into a 4×8 piece of white foam core to give a nice, soft, even spread of light.  And I also used a stronger light in certain situations just by having an assistant hand hold a bare head above camera.
